Hi Michael!
I want to let you know how much we LOVE the pictures. You captured our family beautifully. We couldn't be more happy with them. We are actually going through a hard time here in Denver. Avan is scheduled to start chemo a week from Monday. So, getting these pictures today was such a sweet suprise. Thank you so much for doing such a beautiful job. My mom called me crying this morning after I sent her the link to check them out.
Steve and I will sit down and pick the pictures and the package that we want. They are all so precious, it's going to be a really hard decision. You are wonderful and we will absolutely speak the world of you and your work, but please be patient as we have so much going on with our Avan, it may take us a bit to make our final picks. :)

Creative Mountain Images
David and I were very pleased to have Michael photograph our wedding. Michael is very professional and highly creative. He captured every part of our wedding from the rehearsal, to the processional, to the walk to the reception and all of the reception. We loved the pictures of the cake so much that we have it enlarged in our new home.

I have to say that I am so impressed with everything you did. I have also heard from so many people that the pictures are great and "really tell a story". That is so meaningful especially since most people were not at the actual wedding. Many of my friends got married this summer and honestly their pictures don't compare to yours. You captured the spirit of our wedding, reception and all of the beauty of Vail.

Michael was very professional, prompt and able to "go with the flow" when our CEO didn't show up for the scheduled board photo shoot. He had to completely dismantle his entire setup and do it all again 2 hours later. He never flinched or grimaced, just did what needed to be done in a very professional manner.
We had negotiated a price for the event and I told him, due to the dismantle and reassemble of the photo set, that I expected we would have a much higher invoice for the balance. I was shocked at how small that increase was considering the hassle that I know it was for him to do all that extra work.
Anyway, my point is, he'd be an excellent resource for a photographer for future events at the Vail Cascade. I'll send you a link to Michael's photographs once I have them up on our website.

When my husband and I decided to get married in the Vail Valley, our first search was for a photographer. We loved Michael's work and, fortunately, he was available. Our wedding was at a hard to reach location, but not only was he willing to drive the four wheel drive road to get there, he insisted on coming a day in advance to scout locations.
On the day of the wedding he was so helpful and yet very unobtrusive. Our photos came out better than I would have imagined with a wonderful mix of staged and impromtu photos. My only regret is that we didn't have him stay through the entire reception. In an effort to cut costs we thought we could have guests take photos and we now only have a handful of poor-quality photos to document our wonderful time.
This summer when we had a family reunion one of the first things we did was to book Michael to photograph the family together. Once again our photos are beautiful and I will always be thankful we had him document such an important occasion.
